This course has been developed to train thoracoscopy assistants and is now in its tenth year. The course covers the basics of thoracoscopy and includes sessions on pre-procedure care, monitoring and post-procedure care. There will be lectures, small group work and a strong practical element. The course will be of benefit to all involved in medical thoracoscopy in particular endoscopy staff, specialist nurses and theatre staff. The course is run by the King’s Mill team.
In light of Covid-19, we will practice social distancing in the lecture theatre. Appropriate PPE will be available for hands-on sessions.
The course will take place at King’s Mill Hospital, Sutton-in-Ashfield. NG17 4JL
