The annual Pleural Research Day is a fantastic opportunity to learn about current and upcoming research studies and to gain insight into research that might inform future studies in pleural disease. It is organised by Dr Eleanor Mishra and Prof Naj Rahman.
The 2019 Pleural Research Day will be held at the Edmond J. Safra Lecture Theatre, King’s College, London on 28 June 2019. You can find all the information you need by clicking on the relevant tabs.
If you are a UK Pleural Society member, please sign in first to pay the discounted fee (available in 2019).
Programme is available by clicking on this link: Pleural Research Day_2019_programme
Following the success of the last year’s Research Day, once again we would like to invite researchers to submit their scientific work presenting original research. (Submissions which have been recently presented at other conferences/events will also be accepted).
Abstracts will be reviewed and selected for oral or poster presentation. Winners will be selected and prizes awarded on the day.
You can start submitting your abstracts here: https://www.pleura.org.uk/wp/abstract-submission/
The deadline for the submission of abstracts is Friday 31st May 2019.
Alternatively, if you experience any technical difficulties, please submit your work by emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org
We will acknowledge the receipt of your submission within 3 working days. If you have not heard from us, please contact us at email@example.com or on 01865 227612.
Tickets are now available – please see the details below. If you are a member, please log in before booking a place to benefit from a discounted price.
We will send updates about the Research Day through a mailing list, so please ensure that you agree to sign up. Membership emails will be sent through a separate list. (This is also by ‘double-opt-in’ at registration).
