Terms of service and refunds policy

UK Pleural Society will endeavour to run all events as described on the event page. Occasionally it may be necessary to alter the programme for reasons beyond our control. Where this is necessary we will inform delegates as soon as is practical.

If UK Pleural Society changes the date of an event, any customer who has already bought a ticket will be entitled to a full refund if the new date is not practical for them.

If a customer buys a ticket and changes their mind or can no longer attend for personal circumstances, they will be entitled to a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Between 14 days after purchase and 30 days before the event, customers will be entitled to a full refund less a 5% administration charge (this covers the cost of the transaction fees which are not refunded by the payment providers). Within 30 days of the event, no refund will be payable as many of the costs relating to the event become due during this period.

These terms do not affect statutory rights and are in line with UK distance selling regulations.
